On November 18, 2019, Nigerian singer Davido was reportedly arrested in Dubai following a stabbing incident.
According to reports, the incident occurred inside an elevator at Crab Market, Emirates Financial Towers, Dubai, when the victim, Michael aka Dream Chaser, approached Davido, who was intoxicated at the time.
The musician allegedly broke a bottle on the victim's head, inflicting injuries.
Police were called to the scene, and Davido was taken away around 7am, while the victim was rushed to the Kuwait hospital in Deira.
The incident occurred while Davido was in Dubai for the One Africa Music Festival, which he attended alongside other artists.
His manager, Asa, missed a scheduled flight due to the incident.
