Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results for 1,088,986 candidates are expected to be announced by Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha on Monday.
According to the ministry, the results will be released earlier than in previous years, a trend that has been observed for the last three years.
Examiners have been busy compiling the results over the weekend, following the completion of marking the last papers, including Kiswahili Insha and English Language composition, by Thursday last week.
For exams with multiple choice questions, Optical Mark Recognition System was used to capture marked data from candidates' answer sheets using specialized scanning.
