On November 18, 2019, a disturbing incident unfolded in Dubai, involving renowned artist Davido. According to eyewitnesses, Davido, who was reportedly intoxicated, assaulted a fellow artist, identified as Dream Chaser, in an elevator at Crab Market, Emirates Financial Towers.
Details of the incident suggest that Dream Chaser was simply trying to interact with Davido, but the singer misinterpreted the gesture and broke a bottle on his head.
Following the assault, the police were called, and Davido was taken away around 7am that morning. The victim, Dream Chaser, was rushed to the Kuwait hospital in Deira.
A video has emerged showing Davido attempting to flee the scene of the crime.
