On November 22, 2019, the Sheraton Hotel in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia will host Pitch Ethiopia, an inaugural startup pitch and demo event. This event provides a unique opportunity for startups to pitch to global investors, receive prizes, and potentially secure investment.
Pitch Ethiopia is a partnership between Africa.com and the African Fintech Summit, in collaboration with Pegasus Ventures. This partnership aims to support the growth of the Ethiopian startup ecosystem.
The P!TCH ETHIOP!A winner will have the chance to travel to Silicon Valley, California for the 2020 edition of the Startup World Cup.

The event will take place as part of the African Fintech Summit, which will be held on November 21, 2019, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The convention will dedicate the entirety of the second day to Pitch Ethiopia, showcasing outstanding works of innovation in the presence of industry giants.
A full day of thought leadership, ecosystem discussion, and panel interviews will culminate with the closing ceremony – the P!TCH ETHIOP!A Awards – and the announcement of the top three startups to head to Silicon Valley.
