On Saturday night, three men stormed a house in Bukhulungu, Busia County, where three sisters were sleeping. The girls, aged 13, 14, and 19, were alone at home as their grandmother and uncles were away.

The suspects allegedly defiled two of the girls and stole household items, including electronics. The victims were later treated at Buburi dispensary, where medical reports confirmed that they had been defiled.

Speaking to Citizen TV, the girls' grandmother expressed her fear, saying, 'We now live in fear, hearing that the children will return again….the government will help us.'

Their uncle, Kevin Bwire, added, 'It seems there are people coordinating with strangers and providing them with information about homes to raid and commit such acts.'

According to reports, the incident occurred on Saturday night, November 16, 2019.
