November 18, 2019, marked a significant milestone for Davy Mwaniki, the founder of a thriving business empire in Nakuru. His journey began in 2000 when he opened a small chemist shop in the heart of the town, with a mission to keep his wife busy during her off-duty hours at the Rift Valley Provincial General Hospital.

However, what started as a simple idea to keep his wife engaged has turned out to be a springboard for a venture that would change the landscape of the sub-sector in Nakuru. Today, Mwaniki's business has grown to become a member of the prestigious Top 100 mid-sized companies in Kenya.

Speaking about his journey, Mwaniki revealed that he had to sell two plots and a family car to raise the initial Sh. 1.5 million capital. He said, 'I was forced to sell two plots and a family car. I raised Sh1.5 million capital.'

Fast forward to today, Mwaniki's business has grown exponentially, drawing customers from Narok, Baringo, and Kericho counties, besides Nakuru. His commitment to honesty and his wife's support have been instrumental in his success.

When asked about his goals, Mwaniki expressed his optimism to join the billionaires' club in the next five years. He said, 'My goal is to march this company into the billionaires club in the next five years. I am optimistic I will be counted among the greats in the near future.'
