Published on November 18, 2019, Nigerian singer Davido is facing allegations of stabbing someone in Dubai.
According to reports, the incident occurred inside an elevator at Crab Market, Emirates Financial Towers, Dubai, where Davido was attending the One Africa Music Festival.
Multiple sources, including Instablog9ja, claim that Davido was intoxicated and not in the mood for interaction when Dream Chaser, also known as Michael, approached him.
Despite Dream Chaser's attempts to engage with the singer, Davido allegedly became agitated and stabbed him.
It is reported that Davido's girlfriend, Chioma's, fiancé was also involved in the altercation, breaking a bottle on Dream Chaser's head.
The police took Davido into custody, and the victim was rushed to the Kuwait hospital in Deira.
As a result of the incident, Davido missed his flight.
It is unclear whether the victim pressed charges or if Davido was released on bail, as the singer is reportedly in London.
