Published on November 18, 2019, Huddah Monroe, a Kenyan socialite, has expressed her frustration with businesswomen who prioritize promoting their own products over supporting their fellow businesswomen.

According to Huddah, this 'old school style of marketing' is not only unhelpful but also damaging to the community of businesswomen.

She emphasized that women should learn to promote their businesses without hating or trashing another woman's bread, and instead, focus on uplifting and supporting one another.

As an example, Huddah revealed that despite her dislike for wigs and weaves, she still spends Ksh 300,000 on one wig, highlighting the importance of supporting local businesses.

Her message to fellow businesswomen is clear: 'You cannot shine by dimming another person's light!'

She urged women to adopt a more collaborative approach, promoting each other's products and services without resorting to negative tactics.

By doing so, Huddah believes that women can create a more supportive and inclusive environment that benefits everyone.
