November 18, 2019, marked a tragic day in Homa Bay County, where a 50-year-old man, Charles Moseti, ended his life by hanging himself at God Okombo Village in Rachuonyo East Sub County.

According to Rachuonyo East Sub County Police Commander Charles Barasa, Moseti had dug his own grave earlier this year, a fact that has raised questions about the circumstances surrounding his death.

Barasa revealed that Moseti's pastor informed them that the deceased had prepared the grave in preparation for his demise, sparking an investigation into whether the grave played a role in his decision to take his own life.

However, Barasa noted that Moseti did not leave a suicide note, leaving the police to investigate further to determine the exact reasons behind his death.

The body was taken to Rachuonyo South Sub County hospital mortuary in Oyugis town for further examination.
