Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) dominated Strathmore University Blades in the Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) men's Premier League quarter-final play-offs at Nyayo Gymnasium on November 17, 2018.

Ken Wachira led the charge for KPA, scoring 28 points to secure an 86-73 win and a 1-0 advantage going into the next weekend's showdown at Makande Hall, Mombasa.

Wachira was supported by Ariel Okal and Reegan Oyugi, who added 15 and 14 points respectively for the dockers.

Strathmore University's Ronnie Gundo top scored with 16 points.

KPA coach Sammy Kiki praised his team's performance, saying they had achieved their first aim but their job was not done yet.

'We cannot afford to lose focus because Blades are a very good side and so we must be at our best to enhance our chances of advancing to the semis,' Kiki said.
