Junior Nyong'o, the son of Kisumu Governor Anyang' Nyong'o, has taken a significant step in his life by getting engaged to his longtime lover Wanja Wahoro.

According to sources, the couple got engaged in a low-key ceremony attended by family and friends on November 16, 2019.

Junior, known for his eccentric personality, wore an attire that resembled a dress during the ceremony, which was described as a celebration of love.

When asked about his decision to marry Wanja, Junior revealed that he had always known she was the one and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.

Wanja, who has been Junior's ride or die lover, has always stood by him and defended his choices, including his decision to wear dresses and tap into his feminine side.

Junior's friends, who were taken aback by his love and dedication for Wanja, shared photos of the beautiful ceremony on Instagram.

One of the photos showed Junior saying that he knew Wanja was the one ever since the day he set his eyes on her.

Junior's friends also revealed that he had started scouring the earth in search of rings within the first year of dating Wanja.

According to Tatiana Karanja, a photographer and friend of the couple, Junior purchased Wanja's ring at the same shop where jewelry used for Lord of The Rings were bought.

Wanja has described Junior as her home, crafted from equal parts love, work, and friendship.
