On November 17, 2019, a remarkable birth took place in the southern French city of Toulouse, capital of the Occitanie region.
A 19-year-old woman, who was out partying with friends at the O'club on the Agde road, suddenly went into labor at 5:30 am.
According to La Depeche, the club's staff sprang into action, assisting with the birth and then announcing that the baby could have free entry to the club for life to mark the unusual moment.
Club manager Marie-Helene recounted the events, saying, 'It was 5:30 am, the club was just closing. There wasn’t a lot of people left in the place and one of my members of staff came over to me and said “it’s urgent”.'
Marie-Helene continued, 'A member of staff called the emergency medical line who talked us through what we had to do. The young woman didn’t seem too panicked but she was worried. Then the baby came out.'
The owners of the O'club are giving the baby free entry for life to celebrate the momentous experience, but only when the baby turns the legal drinking age.
