Published on November 17, 2019, Togo coach Claude Le Roy has cautioned his team to be at their best in their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya.

Le Roy's charges arrived in Nairobi on Saturday ahead of Monday's match against hosts Harambee Stars at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.

Kenya drew 1-1 against Egypt in Alexandria on Friday, a result that has made Le Roy believe the hosts are a 'dangerous' team.

'They are looking dangerous and in good shape. We saw what they did in Egypt,' Le Roy explained.

Le Roy, a 71-year-old coach with extensive experience, has also done his homework on Kenya, highlighting their talented players, including two forwards based in Asia and Wanyama in England.

Football Kenya Federation president Nick Mwendwa emphasized the importance of Kenya picking maximum points in this group to gain control of the qualifiers.

Only the top two teams from each group are guaranteed qualification to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
