On Saturday, November 17, 2019, Storms women's basketball team secured their spot in the semi-finals of the Kenya Basketball League Premier League by defeating Strathmore 66-62 in a closely contested match at Nyayo Gymnasium in Nairobi.

Strathmore dominated the first half, narrowly winning the first quarter 16-15 and the second quarter 14-11. However, Storms took charge in the second half, claiming a 17-14 win in the third quarter and a 23-18 margin in the final quarter to secure their victory.

Storms head coach Abel Nson expressed his joy at the team's performance, stating that they had a solid game and were excited to face KPA again in the semi-finals.

“We had a very good solid game, the match was difficult but at the end of the day we’re excited to face KPA again in the semis after doing so last year,” Nson said.

Storms will now face either KPA or Eagle Wings in the semi-finals, while defending champions Equity Bank will meet Dynamites of the University of Nairobi.
