England's Euro 2020 qualification campaign has been affected by the withdrawal of two key players, Joe Gomez and Jordan Henderson, ahead of the final group stage match against Kosovo on Sunday.

According to England manager Gareth Southgate, Gomez, 22, has suffered a knee injury in training, while Henderson, 29, is dealing with a viral infection.

Both players were expected to feature in the match, but their withdrawal has given Southgate an opportunity to recall Raheem Sterling, who was dropped from the squad following a clash with Gomez at the team's training camp.

England has already secured qualification for the tournament, and Southgate has expressed his willingness to start Sterling in the match against Kosovo.
