On November 16, 2019, Deputy President William Ruto addressed a congregation in Kipkelion West, Kericho County, during the commissioning of a road.

Speaking at the event, Ruto called upon all Jubilee leaders to take note of President Kenyatta's plea to end party wrangles, as guided by the President's meeting with Gema leaders at Sagana Lodge in Nyeri County.

According to Ruto, the aim of the Jubilee party was to bring Kenyans together, and he urged the party leaders to leave behind petty politics of division and ethnicity.

He emphasized that the party has a clear direction from the party leader, President Kenyatta, and that Jubilee is united. Ruto further warned the opposition to keep off Jubilee's internal affairs and focus on cleaning up their own political mess.
