Granit Xhaka, the Swiss international midfielder, has reignited his feud with Arsenal fans with a cryptic Instagram post on November 16, 2019.

The post, which translates to 'Happiness is when you are satisfied with yourself and do not need the confirmation of others,' has been interpreted as a direct attack on the Gunners' fans who have fallen out of favor with him.

The post comes after Xhaka was axed as Arsenal captain following his viral outburst after being substituted during Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace in October.

Since then, Xhaka has been focused on his international duties, helping his national side to a convincing win against Gilbatar on November 11, which guaranteed Switzerland a place in Euro 2020.

However, his cryptic message has sparked outrage from Arsenal fans, who feel he is attacking them with his message about happiness.

It is worth noting that Xhaka had initially released a statement on the viral issue with Arsenal fans, claiming some had crossed the line by wishing death upon his daughter.

He called on 'mutual respect' from the fans, but his half-hearted apology seems to have done little to help his cause at Arsenal.

As a result, fellow Premier League side Newcastle United have expressed interest in signing Xhaka in the January winter transfer window, potentially offering him a way out of his Gunners nightmare.
