Comedian Zainab Zeddy has bravely shared her story of battling depression after losing her second born child in a stillbirth. The incident occurred after she carried the pregnancy for nine months.

According to Zeddy, she was left devastated and alone after the loss, with no one wanting to be around her. This led to a deep depression that almost consumed her.

She recalled the pain of being transferred to a ward with other breastfeeding mothers, who avoided her due to the misconception that she might steal their babies. Zeddy stayed indoors for three months, unable to face the world and struggling to cope with her loss.

She shared a heart-wrenching post on her Instagram page, narrating her ordeal and the struggles she faced in the aftermath of her son's death. Zeddy expressed her gratitude to a friend who visited her and helped her to open up about her feelings.

She advised hospitals to provide counseling sessions for mothers who lose their babies during childbirth, saying it would be a great help in their healing process.

Published on November 16, 2019, Zeddy's story serves as a reminder of the importance of mental health support and the need for empathy and understanding in times of grief.
