On Saturday, Nation FC's team manager, Elias Makori, was proud of his charges' performance despite a 3-1 loss to Ulinzi Stars in a friendly match at St Mary's School, Nairobi.

Published on November 16, 2019, the match was part of the team's preparation for their next Kenyan Premier League match against Kariobangi Sharks at Kasarani on Thursday.

Ulinzi coach Benjamin Nyangweso praised Nation FC's young stars, saying they were the future of Kenyan football and should continue to work hard to emulate former Harambee Stars defender Mulinge Ndeto.

Former international striker Oscar Wamalwa was impressed with the level of talent he spotted in the Nation FC team, promising to invite them for trials in future.

Despite efforts by Nation's attacking trio, comprising Jeff Lidava, Peter Bol, and Titus Mbithi, experienced keeper James Saruni thwarted their attempts.

Nation FC, currently sixth in the Corporate League organised by Left Foot Sports, are preparing for their final match against Bamburi FC, where a win could see them jump to second place.
