On November 16, 2019, Liverpool forward Sadio Mane was spotted helping a casual worker carry heavy water bottles to the stadium during his national team duty in Senegal.

Mane, known for his footballing superpowers, chose to ease the workload of the worker by involving himself in the task, showcasing his humility and kindness.

His teammates and fans alike took to social media to hail Mane's gesture, praising him for being more than just a footballer.

Mane's lifestyle is a far cry from the typical star footballer's, with the Senegalese superstar heavily invested in charity work rather than flashy cars and houses.

He has already built several civic buildings in his native Senegal, including schools and hospitals, and has donated over KSh 25 million towards the facilitation of such projects.

Senegal are off to a flyer in their AFCON 2021 quest, beating Congo 2-0 on November 13, 2019.
