On November 16, 2019, President Uhuru Kenyatta expressed his joy and happiness at the level of maturity and understanding the ODM voters had carried out themselves during the election day.

However, the peaceful atmosphere was short-lived as Tanga Tanga goons descended on ODM voters, inflicting injuries on many.

Junet Mohammed, the Suna East MP, has condemned the violence, describing the Tanga Tanga allied leaders as idle minds with nothing useful to engage in apart from waging war.

He expressed his sincere apologies to the many ODM voters who sustained injuries as a result of being clobbered by the Tanga Tanga thugs.

Junet stated that the Kibra residents, particularly the ODM voters, had exercised an indescribable degree of peace and restraint on themselves, something that is always hard to find in them.

However, the Tanga Tanga thugs and bullies were not impressed with the serenity and ambiance that filled the Kibra region and opted for violence and thuggery behaviors.
