On Sunday, Nairobi Gymkhana will host the inaugural Nairobi Invitational Cricket League (NICL) final match between giant-killers Sir Ali Muslim Club and the star-studded Swamibapa.

According to Sir Ali Muslim Club skipper Gurdeep Singh, his team is under no pressure heading into the final, citing their underdog status as a potential advantage.

Speaking to Nation Sport on Friday, Gurdeep stated, 'It's Swamibapa who have something to prove in the final and that eases pressure on my side.'

Despite being among the less-fancied teams to qualify for the play-offs, Sir Ali Muslim Club has stunned Stray Lions and Kanbis in previous matches, earning them a spot in the final.

Swamibapa, on the other hand, is the only team in the tournament to have reached the play-offs unbeaten, making them firm favourites in the finals.

However, Sir Ali Muslim Club's bowling performances, led by Sandip Adole and Abdul Rehman, could hold the key to their title chances, especially if the match is affected by rain.
