Rais Uhuru Kenyatta visited ailing retired President Moi at Nairobi Hospital on November 14, 2019, in a gesture of goodwill.
According to Lee Njiru, the head of communication for Moi, the former president is receiving treatment and will be allowed to go home whenever he regains his health.
Uhuru's visit came a week after Moi was readmitted to the hospital for further medical check-ups.
Lee Njiru revealed that Moi's condition is stable, and he is receiving the necessary care and attention.
"Rais Uhuru Kenyatta visited Mzee Moi at Nairobi Hospital on November 14, 2019, where he is receiving treatment. The two leaders had a lengthy and in-depth conversation," Njiru told Daily Nation.
