On November 14, a thrilling football match between Ghana and South Africa took an unexpected turn when a daring fan, clad in a Chelsea jersey, decided to literally join the action on the pitch.
The fan, later identified as Awal Sulemana, managed to evade security officials and sprint across the field, leaving the crowd in awe and the stewards in a frantic chase.
As the game was stopped in the 86th minute with Ghana leading 1-0, the fan's antics brought the match to a temporary halt, with the security personnel scrambling to catch up with him.
Despite the commotion, Ghana went on to win the match 2-0, securing a crucial victory in Group C of the AFCON 2021 qualifiers.
