On November 15, 2019, Muhammed Abubakar's perseverance paid off as he became a captain at Azman Air, a milestone achieved after 24 years of working in the aviation sector.

Abubakar's journey began as an airplane cleaner at Kabo Air, a job he took after being unable to secure admission into Kaduna Polytechnic. Despite earning a meager N200 per day, approximately $0.5, Abubakar remained committed to his work and eventually rose through the ranks to become a ground staff at the airline in Maiduguri.

He worked in various positions, honing his skills and gaining valuable experience in the aviation sector. Abubakar's hard work and dedication caught the attention of the Deputy Managing Director, who offered him a job as a crew member at Kabo Air. He later moved to Aero Contractors as a flight attendant, where his sharp mind and previous experience earned him a significant salary increase to N170,000.

With the support of the Deputy Managing Director, Abubakar pursued his dream of becoming a pilot. He paid for his private pilot license in Canada and successfully completed his training. However, he still needed to obtain a commercial pilot license, which the company sponsored after recognizing his loyalty.

After eight years of hard work in Aero Contractors, Abubakar finally achieved his goal of becoming a captain at Azman Air. His inspiring story serves as a testament to the power of determination and faith in achieving one's dreams.
