Kimilili Member of Parliament Didmus Barasa has sparked controversy with allegations against his female counterpart, Wajir Women Representative Fatma Gedi.

According to a document shared by Barasa on social media, a Kadhis court granted custody of Gedi's three children to her former husband in April.

Barasa then took to Twitter, requesting women parliamentarians to help Gedi find another husband, claiming she was luring young boys to bed for sex.

He tweeted, 'Please rally KEWOPA (Kenya Women Parliamentary Association) to combine forces with Inua Mama to assist Hon. Fatuma Gedi get another husband. So as to stop chewing small boys including her drivers and bodyguards.'

However, Gedi has fired back at Barasa, accusing him of being a 'conman' and dismissing his claims as 'fake stories'.

Barasa's tweet was posted on November 14, 2019, while Gedi's response was posted the following day.
