November 15, 2019, marked a significant milestone for Kaiser Onyango, a 24-year-old music producer known by his stage name Kayo Rille. At just 16, he started his music journey as a high school rapper, but his passion soon shifted to music production.

With determination and hard work, Kayo Rille taught himself the craft of music production and started his recording studio, NOSTAPROS Records, in his bedroom in 2017. The studio, an acronym for 'No Sleep Till Tha Future's Proper,' has produced over 450 songs and has been home to over 70 artists.

Initially, Kayo Rille's path in music production was not without its challenges. He started out with a makeshift studio, using a tiny shoe closet as a recording booth and a rechargeable lamp for lighting. However, despite the limitations, the quality of his work was not debatable.

Through his first artist Mbithi, Kayo Rille got introduced to Box House Media, which had better equipment. He created his own beats in his bedroom and then took them to Box House Media where he professionally mixed and mastered them.

Today, Kayo Rille's goal is to capture his artists' vision and deliver good products. Seeing an artist full of joy once the job is done makes it all worth it to him.

For upcoming artists, Kayo Rille showcases his craft through his Instagram account @kayo.rille.
