On November 14, 2019, the body of late Churchill Show comedian Anthony Njenga, known to many as Njenga Mswahili, was moved from the City Mortuary to the Lang'ata Cemetery, ready for burial.
According to TUKO.co.ke, the body was moved from the morgue on Thursday morning, about six days after Njenga's sad demise on November 7, 2019.
Comedians from the Churchill Show and others converged at the morgue to pick his body and headed to the Lang'ata Cemetery for the interment.
As reported earlier, Njenga was found dead on November 7, 2019, in Ndonyo Market, Dagoretti South, after allegedly being hit by a train.
Although the exact cause of his death was not immediately clear, it was alleged he was going through a rough time and may have ended his life.
Speaking exclusively to TUKO.co.ke, Erick Kiogora, another former Churchill show comedian, revealed Njenga must have been knocked down knowingly or unknowingly by a train in the wee hours of Thursday morning, around the time trains usually pass through the area.
He also disclosed the late comedian was unrecognisable and his mother had to confirm that indeed it was him.
