Published on November 15, 2019, Forbes ranked Trevor Noah, the host of The Daily Show, as the fourth highest-paid stand-up comedian in the world, with earnings of $28 million (Ksh 2.8 billion) in 2019.

According to Forbes, Noah's income was largely generated from his stand-up comedy tours, which took him to over 70 locations worldwide. He also released his second Netflix special in 2019.

“Despite the demands of hosting a late-night show, Noah made more than 70 stops across the world and had his second Netflix special last fall,” the magazine said.

Kevin Hart topped the list with earnings of $59 million (Ksh 602 million), followed by Jerry Seinfeld with $41 million (Ksh 4.1 billion), and Jim Gaffigan with $30 million (Ksh 3 billion).

Notable Mentions

Kevin Hart previously held the top spot in 2018, earning $57 million, just $500,000 behind Jerry Seinfeld. Hart dominated the list since its inception in 2006, losing only once in 2016.
