On November 14, 2019, a shocking incident unfolded at Baragoi Boys Secondary School in Samburu County, where four teachers were arrested for allegedly colluding to assist students cheat in the ongoing KCSE examination.

Samburu North Sub-county Police Commander Tom Makori confirmed the incident, stating that the four individuals, including the school's deputy principal, an invigilator, and two biology teachers, were detained at Baragoi Police Station.

According to Makori, the deputy principal and invigilator's frequent visits to the toilet raised suspicion among the police officers manning the examination center.

"The officers saw the invigilator entering the teachers' toilet first, and when he left, the deputy principal followed shortly and left looking suspicious," Makori said.

Following further investigation, the police officers discovered a piece of paper with suspected answers to the Biology Paper 2 test in the toilet.

The suspects are expected to appear in court on Thursday after police complete their investigations.
