On November 14, 2019, the comedy world in Kenya was left reeling with the news of the passing of Churchill Show comedian James Daniel Njenga, alias Njenga Mswahili.

His body was found along the train tracks in the Dagoretti area, sparking shock and fear among the fledgling comedic scene, with some speculating that his death might have been due to depression.

Churchill, the comedian's mentor, took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message, saying:

"Farewell, our brother, fare thee well Njenga Mswahili." "#RIPNjengaMswahili"
