Mama and Two Children Missing After Visiting Estranged KDF Husband ¶
On October 26, 2019, Joyce Syombua, a mother of two, went missing with her children, Shanice and Prince Michael, after visiting her estranged husband, Peter Mugure, a KDF soldier, in Nanyuki, Kenya.
According to Elizabeth Malombe, Syombua's sister, the family had planned to visit Mugure at the Nanyuki military camp, where he was stationed.
Malombe stated that Syombua's son had been ordered by a court to visit his father, and she had decided to take the children to meet their father.
However, the family's whereabouts remain unknown, and their disappearance has sparked a police investigation.
Police in Nanyuki are investigating the disappearance of Syombua and her children, who were last seen visiting their estranged father at the Nanyuki military camp.
According to the police, the family had been seen getting into a 4NTE matatu, which was later found to have Syombua's phone inside.
However, the driver of the matatu has denied any involvement in the disappearance, claiming that Syombua and her children had gotten off at a bus stop in Nairobi.
The police are still investigating the disappearance of Syombua and her children, and their whereabouts remain unknown.
