Manchester United are set to discuss a potential deal for Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic, with the Italian club reportedly willing to offload the player for £13 million in January.
According to La Stampa, Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici flew to London to meet with Manchester United chiefs at their headquarters, where they will discuss the transfer of Mandzukic, who has not played a game under Maurizio Sarri this season.
However, the talks are not expected to be limited to Mandzukic, with Juventus also considering a move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, who has struggled with injuries this season.
Manchester United, on the other hand, may be willing to part with young defender Merih Demiral, who has barely featured since joining the club from Sassuolo in July for £15 million.
Demiral, 21, has been highly-rated and could be allowed to leave after the club signed Matthijs de Ligt later in the summer.
Manchester United and Arsenal are said to be monitoring Demiral's progress, with the youngster already having 10 senior caps for Turkey.
Meanwhile, Chelsea could also be affected by Paratici's visit, with their former boss Maurizio Sarri keen to secure moves for Willian and Emerson Palmieri.
