Published on November 14, 2019, a shocking revelation has emerged from Deputy President William Ruto's Rift Valley backyard legislators.
According to the legislators, Ruto is contemplating to leave Jubilee party ahead of 2022 general polls due to the party's outfit being a potential barrier to his candidature.
The legislators claim that Ruto fears the worst economic challenges Kenyans are facing now may turn to haunt him in 2022 should he vie on a Jubilee ticket.
Moreover, the legislators revealed that Ruto is planning to use Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) of the former Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto as his political vehicle.
It remains to be seen whether Ruto will indeed ditch Jubilee party and join another party ahead of the 2022 general polls.
