On November 14, 2019, news broke out that Esma Platnumz, Diamond's sister, had broken up with her boyfriend Petit Man, the father of her child.
According to reports, the breakup was a result of Petit Man's infidelity, with his ex-partner Mange Kinambi, a Tanzanian human rights activist, claiming that he was cheating on Esma with another woman of Rwandese origin.
Mange Kinambi even went as far as leaking audio recordings of the two lovers, which led to Petit Man being forced to confess his mistake.
However, it seems that Petit Man has managed to win Esma back, as they were spotted walking hand-in-hand at a Tanzanian mall.
Esma has since spoken out about the breakup, stating that she and Petit Man had been together for a long time and that she was deeply hurt when she found out about his infidelity.
She told Wasafi TV: 'Kingine ambacho hawakijui mimi na Petit tuliachana muda mrefu hata zile voice note nilivyokuja kuzisikia nilicheka sana halafu akinipigia simu.'
