Sarah Cohen Seeks Return of Belongings from DCI

On November 14, 2019, Sarah Cohen, the widow of murdered Dutch businessman Tob Cohen, filed a fresh application with the court seeking the return of her belongings from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.

According to the application, Sarah wants the DCI to hand over her two Rottweilers, Major and Snow, which were taken to an unknown location.

She has also listed other items she wants to be allowed to collect from her Sh400 million matrimonial home in Kitisuru, including:

  • all her clothes, shoes, handbags, grooming tools, and wearable items
  • food stuffs and beverages of a perishable nature, including alcoholic and soft drinks stored in the kitchen, her office, and daughter's bedroom
  • crockery
  • cutlery
  • crystal glasses in the kitchen drawers
  • valuable electronics
  • artwork
  • a generator
  • a lawn mower
  • golfing equipment and furniture
  • motor vehicle registration number KBW 171G

She also wants the court to order that all movable items in her home, which do not form exhibits and she has not collected, be stored by the DCI.
