When a relationship starts to feel one-sided, it's essential to take a step back and assess the situation. A good partner is there for you when you need them, unless they're in their own inescapable situation. However, if your boyfriend consistently flakes on plans, it may be a sign that he's not genuinely interested in you.

He might make promises and set dates, but always seems to be busy at the last minute. A man who wants to make plans with you will make sure he shows up. If he's consistently disappearing when you need him most, it's a red flag.

Someone who genuinely likes you will want to get to know you better. They'll ask questions, listen to your responses, and try to understand your interests and values. A man who is using you, on the other hand, will not be interested in learning about who you are. He might not even be interested in you at all.

Another sign that your boyfriend is using you is if he hasn't introduced you to his friends or family. When you ask, he might brush it off or make excuses. A committed partner would want you to meet the people he cares about, but a man who is using you wouldn't see the point in doing so.

Lastly, be cautious if your boyfriend always asks for favours but never seems to be able to return them. Relationships are about give and take, and if your partner is only looking out for themselves, it may be time to reevaluate the relationship.
