A good partner is there for you when you need them, unless they're in their own inescapable situation. However, if your boyfriend consistently flakes on plans, it may be a sign that he's not genuinely interested in you.
He might make promises and set dates, but always seems to be busy at the last minute. A man who wants to make plans with you will make sure he shows up. If he's consistently disappearing when you need him most, it's a red flag.
