On November 13, 2019, a heated exchange erupted on social media when singer Akothee took to her social media platforms to express her outrage over a media personality's comment about her baby daddy, Dominic.
According to reports, the media personality had referred to Dominic as an ancestor, which Akothee took as a personal attack.
Akothee, who is known for her fiery personality, fired back at the media personality, calling them out for disrespecting her family.
She also hinted that she would take action against the media personality, stating that she would get them arrested to serve as an example to others who have been on her family's case.
"At least I am brave enough to share my life, but some idiots don't even have a life to share since they can't face reality and living on celebrities' lives for content! Now if a whole Media calls the father of my children an ancestor, someone who can feed him together with his community, what will fans call him?" Akothee posed.
She also added: "Mtanikoma maumbwa nyinyi, he is a father to my children living a better life than your children in a public school with torn shoes, pending rent and debts left right, you have audacity to call him names."
Netizens are convinced that Akothee's rant was directed at Kiss FM radio, with the prime suspect being Andrew Kibe.
