On November 12, 2019, Wema Sepetu, the former Miss Tanzania and ex-girlfriend of Diamond Platnumz, shared her thoughts on the musical beef between the two Bongo Flava artists.
Speaking to a global publisher, Wema Sepetu stated that there was no need to explain the obvious, as it was evident that Ali Kiba's beats surpassed those of Diamond Platnumz.
She explained that she was a big fan of Kiba and could repeatedly listen to his songs, something her ex-boyfriend Platnumz knew about even when they were still dating.
"Unajua watu hawaelewi, mimi siwezi kuficha hisia zangu hata kidogo, ni kweli kabisa nauelewa muziki wa Kiba, uzuri hata Diamond mwenyewe anafahamu hilo na kingine ni vyema kujiachia ni wapi unapenda na unapata hisia kali unaposikiliza muziki wake," said Wema.
The Tanzanian actress went on to explain that Kiba was an impeccable songwriter and that his music held water.
"Ni hivi, nitaendelea kuwa shabiki siku zote wa Kiba, hakuna chochote ambacho kitanifanya nisifanye hivyo maana kizuri kinajiuza na kama kuna mtu atachukia kwa hilo, atakuwa siyo muelewa kwa sababu muziki ni hisia kali zilizopo ndani ya moyo wa mtu," she explained.
