On November 13, 2019, Ben Spinks, a Top Fry racer, made history by winning his fourth Enduro national title in Naivasha, Kenya.
Spinks, who has been racing under the Top Fry Racing Team livery since 2017, dominated the 2019 Kenya National Enduro Championships (Knec) with a flawless performance.
He started the season on a brand new 2019 KTM 300exc motorbike and went on to sweep the ground with his opponents, clinching five wins out of the five races held on the 2019 calendar.
Spinks' season best was set in the final race, where he outpaced his competitors, including William Mayer, Mark Glen, and Tanzanian sensation Per Bjerre.
Other podium finishes were secured by Ben Pontier in second place and Zane Young, while William Mayer, Mark Glen, and Per Bjerre presented Spinks with a stiff challenge on the 15-kilometer track.
Despite high temperatures, Spinks managed to push harder and out-lap his competitors with verve and vigour.
"I have been hard on myself and putting the time and effort required to maintain the fitness to stay ahead of the pack," Spinks said.
"I'm so grateful to my sponsors, Top Fry, for covering my back for the past three years for all my racing adventures. Without them, I couldn't be at every event," he added.
Spinks' win was in addition to his trophy chest, which includes the 2017 Central African Cross Country Challenge and the 2015, 2017, and 2018 Knec titles.
He would be gunning for his fifth title shot under the Top Fry banner while looking forward to a more competitive 2020 season with fresh talent and new and more challenging tracks.
