On November 13, 2019, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was seen making a hasty exit during an interview at the Uefa elite managers summit in Switzerland.
According to eyewitnesses, Klopp's sudden departure was triggered by the appearance of Pep Guardiola, his Manchester City counterpart, who was attending the same summit.
Just hours earlier, Klopp's Liverpool team had secured a crucial 3-1 win over Man City at Anfield, with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, and Fabinho scoring for the Reds.
Guardiola's Man City, on the other hand, were left reeling from the defeat, which saw them drop to fourth place in the Premier League standings.
Despite the intense rivalry between the two teams, Klopp insisted that there was no bad blood between him and Guardiola, saying, 'Of course we spoke, why shouldn't we speak?'
However, when a journalist asked if he had spoken with Guardiola, Klopp appeared confused, replying, 'Pepe? Who is Pepe?'
It was at this point that he spotted Guardiola approaching and whispered, 'Pep Guardiola is coming!' before jokingly running off camera.
