Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has laid down the law with his young squad, introducing a list of strict rules and hefty fines for misbehavior.

According to a leaked document published on Reddit, players who are late for match days and treatment will face fines of up to £2,500, rising to £20,000 if they are tardy for the start of training.

Other fines include £10,000 for not reporting illness or injury before a day off or 90 minutes ahead of training, and £5,000 for not turning up for corporate or community duties.

Players who fail to meet body composition targets, bring unauthorised family or guests to training, or allow agents on the training ground will also face disciplinary action.

Despite the strict rules, Chelsea's discipline has not been an issue this season, with the team winning their last six Premier League games and sitting third in the table.

However, they face a tough test after the international break when they travel to champions Manchester City on November 23.
