On November 13, 2019, a dramatic twist unfolded in a story that had captivated the nation. A Kakamega man, Isaac Manyasi, appeared on KTN News, denying claims that a man identified as Paul Manyasia was his son.
According to Sky News Africa, Paul Manyasia's parents had confirmed that their son was the one who fell from the plane moments before landing at London's Heathrow Airport in June. However, Isaac Manyasi disputed these claims, stating that his son, Cetric Shilonja Isaac, was alive and had been in jail for two years.
Isaac Manyasi also announced plans to sue Sky News for misleading reports. He claimed that his son's personal items, including a bag with the letters 'MCA' and shorts, were recovered from the plane after the incident.
