On November 13, 2019, KCB Group, the region's largest lender, embarked on a mission to boost the development of financial technological (fintech) products by sending its digital team to Singapore.
The lender's acting digital financial services and mobile banking head, Alex Siboe, stated that the mission aimed to inform future engagements with customers via newly formulated globally competitive products.
According to Mr. Siboe, the goal is to offer suitable products for current customers by developing tech-based products that cater to people's lives and human needs.
As part of the mission, a senior KCB group official was slated to address the fourth Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) as a guest speaker.
KCB Group is actively involved in dispensing services to its customers via digital products such as KCB-M-Pesa, which moved Sh54 billion last year, Mobi-Grow, and Stawi.
