November 13, 2019, marked a significant day for Sam Vidambu, the founder and CEO of Ambigen Limited. His story, however, began long before he rose to the top of his corporate career.

According to Vidambu, his addiction was not related to drugs or substance abuse, but rather a deep-seated fear of women that stemmed from his childhood. Born as the only boy in a family of six, Vidambu had to share a room with all his sisters, which led to a distorted view of women.

As he grew older, Vidambu's fear of women only intensified, and he found himself struggling to form meaningful relationships. It wasn't until he joined Dedan Kimathi University of Technology that he felt the pressure to try and connect with women.

However, Vidambu's attempts at courtship were met with disappointment, and he found himself turning to pornography as a way to cope. He admits that pornography played a significant role in leading him towards masturbation addiction.

"Of Course Masturbation is caused by pornography. Anybody who does masturbation is a porn addict," Vidambu says.

After years of struggling with his addiction, Vidambu finally found the strength to stop. He realized that his behavior was not representative of who he truly was and that it was a form of sexual impurity.

Today, Vidambu is proud to share his story, hoping to help others who may be struggling with the same issues. He believes that masturbation addiction is a highly disregarded problem in Kenya and the world, and he is determined to raise awareness about it.
