Peter Karanja Arrested in Nairobi Over Robbery with Violence

On November 12, 2019, a warrant of arrest was issued by a Naivasha court for Peter Karanja, who is also a suspect in the murder of Dutch tycoon Tob Cohen.

According to reports, Karanja was arrested at the Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi on Tuesday afternoon, November 12, 2019.

He is wanted for robbery with violence, a charge that has been consolidated with the murder case against him and Sarah Wairimu Kamotho.

Senior Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions Catherine Mwaniki had applied for the consolidation of the two files, citing that the victim, the particulars of the offence, and the witnesses were the same.
