Published on November 12, 2019, a controversy has erupted in the Nairobi entertainment scene after rapper Trap King Chrome, whose real name is Juma Ombomi, accused Nairobi Diaries actor Colonel Mustafa of being gay.
Trap King made the allegations on his Instagram page, where he claimed that Mustafa has been living with his male partner in his home for a long time.
"How long will you deceive your fans? How long will you live a lie? I have no problem with you being gay, but what bothers me is that you appear on TV every day pretending to be someone you're not, while living with your male partner in your home," Trap King said in a scathing post.
Trap King also urged Mustafa to come out openly and accept his true identity, rather than hiding it, as he might gain support from his fans or receive help in some way.
Trap King, who also resides in the UK, claimed that Mustafa is over 40 years old and it's time for him to publicly declare his stance.
However, Mustafa has not responded to the allegations as of now.
