TECNO Spark 4: A Minor Continuation to the Series

TECNO has been launching smartphones at an incredible pace this year, with multiple devices hitting the market in quick succession. The Spark 4 is the latest addition to the series, and it's clear that TECNO is not trying to replace the Spark 3 PRO, but rather offer a minor continuation to the series.

One of the key differences between the Spark 4 and the Spark 3 PRO is the display size. The Spark 4 boasts a 6.52-inch display, compared to the 6.2-inch display on the Spark 3 PRO. Additionally, the Spark 4 has a triple camera setup, whereas the Spark 3 PRO had only two rear cameras. The battery on the Spark 4 has also been increased to 4000mAh, up from 3500mAh on the Spark 3 PRO.

Despite these upgrades, the Spark 4 still runs on the same processor and GPU as the Spark 3 PRO. This means that performance-wise, the two devices are identical. However, the Spark 4 does support Faiba 4G VoLTE, which is a welcome addition.

When it comes to value for money, the Spark 4 is a solid choice. However, it's worth noting that the Infinix HOT 8 offers similar specs and a larger battery for a lower price of KES. 10,999. Ultimately, the choice between the Spark 4 and the HOT 8 will depend on individual preferences and needs.

Overall, the Spark 4 is a minor continuation to the Spark series, offering incremental upgrades over the Spark 3 PRO. While it's not a revolutionary device, it's a solid choice for those looking for a budget smartphone with a large display and decent cameras.
