On 7 November, the Jubilee candidate suffered a devastating loss in the Kibra by-election, a result that has left many in the political sphere reeling. In a shocking turn of events, Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has branded former Prime Minister Raila Odinga a 'devil worshiper'.

Speaking at St Patrick's Catholic Church fundraising in Eldam-Ravine, Baringo county, on Sunday 10 November, Sudi made some startling claims about Odinga's activities. According to Sudi, Odinga had flown to Nigeria prior to the Kibra poll, where he allegedly engaged in witchcraft.

“Prior to the Kibra poll, Raila had flown to Nigeria, a lot of witchcraft dominates his head,” Sudi stated, adding that Odinga had used 'crooked ways' to prevent certain communities from voting for their preferred candidates.

Sudi also accused Odinga of being a 'black colonialist' and blamed him for the slow development in Kibra Constituency. He further mocked Odinga's tenure as Langata MP and Prime Minister, pointing out that despite his long time in office, Kibra residents still dispose of human waste using polythene bags.

Notably, Sudi urged other opposition leaders, including Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka, and Moses Wetang'ula, to leave Odinga's 'bondage of witchcraft' and join Deputy President William Ruto's camp to form the 2022 government.
