On November 12, 2019, the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) made a crucial decision to suspend the operating licences of Silverstone's Dash 8 fleet for a week.
The suspension was a direct result of a freak accident involving the airline a few days prior, which led to the KCAA taking swift action to ensure the safety of passengers.
